Of Fondants and Fond Don'ts

Craving : Shrimp fried in bread

Phew...there is just so much that has happened since my last entry. There is the good, there is a the bad, and there is the ugly. But before that, other stuff. My tag board is gone as you can see. It wasn't working anymore and sorta died. Anybody got a suggestion for a good one just let me know. Alright..now on to the main course.

The good. VBS was fun. Darn tiring but fun. I do think however the kids get harder and harder to please each year. I blame it on the now ridiculously short attention spans. Still it was a great time and I think volunteers and xpos both had lots of fun. The Alpha Youth training in PD was good too. Those of us who went definately came back with a clearer picture of the program and how it fits in our church. Got to meet alot of new people and even learned quite a bit about charismatics and roman catholics. But the training was pretty light and there was lots of food. So for the first time in ages I dipped in the sea and played beach volley ball and flew a kite. Had plenty of quality time with those whom attended too. We got to chat about all sorts of stuff and I think bonded a little bit more.

The bad. Things coming to an end. Maybe I'll elaborate on this sometime in the future, but right now is just not the time.
