Fan Fic Romantics

Cravings: Buffalo Wings

Some people already know this but I enjoy reading Harry Potter fanfiction. I know I've blogged about this before but bear with me. I am extra partial towards Harry/Hermione story pairings and the reason I am is because I feel there is a sort of romanticism to the whole idea. The whole best friends for ages and ages, being able to complete each other's sentences, knowing how the other is feeling just with one look kind of thing finally being topped of by falling for each other. It's the stuff of romance novels and romantic comedies/dramas.

So why do I enjoy all this stuff? I think I have figured it out. (And no it is not due to loss of any manliness on my part) The reason is that I think that sometimes these stories portray my idealistic view of romance. Having someone who really complemented you 100%, someone whom you've shared so many experiences with. A relationship where both can be their own person and yet have a 'we'. Being able to care for someone that way and being cared for that way....perhaps it's only the stuff of dreams, but one can pray can't they?...:)
