God Inc.

Craving: Subway Southwest Steak On Sourdough

Some of you may have heard me mention this mini-series on YouTube called God Inc. Basically it portrays God as the head of a large corporation which overseas the running of the world. It doesn't then come as a surprise that the departments in the corporation are named things like Population Control, Natural Disasters, Miracles, etc. Almost everything has to go through submissions and approvals. There is even the patented stereotypical asian femenazi manager, Piper. You really have to watch it for yourselves to see what it's all about.

Now the things is this, steadily from the first episode to the last, the Miracles department has been getting down sized. I guess it's the producers way of showing how we don't really believe in miracles anymore. So in the last episode we see the final guy in the department, Austin, getting the boot by Piper. The thing is though, just as Austin is leaving the building, the submissions department find a overdue submission from the Miracles department. In a rush, they approve it lest their lax ways are found out and lo and behold the northern lights are seen over Florida. This ofcourse eventually leads to Austin retaining his job showing that miracles really do still exist. Now I don't know why, and I'm probably not doing the whole situation justice, but I really really enjoyed that episode. Sorta gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside you know..:)
