Faith

Craving: Lobster Thermidor

Every since I started going to church I've heard about "Faith". We are always told to have faith in everything we do, and to just trust in God. However I know there were many times for me, when faith just wasn't enough. I had to plan and make sure everything would be alright, or maybe make a move instead of waiting for God's timing.

These days however, I sorta view things differently. When dealing with YF issues especially, I rarely feel unsure or worried anymore. Even when faced with the daunting schedule and work load Youth Fellowship has laid out for us teachers, all I felt was a sense of calm. A sense of "Don't worry, God will see us through this." . I admit, I 've been selfish in not sharing this feeling with my fellow teachers, perhaps because I am afraid it's going to sound cheesy, but it's truly the way I feel. I'm not telling this story to blow my own horn or anything, but...it just hit me the other day, this must be just a glimmer of what it must be like to have faith like Paul, like the apostles. Cheers and God Bless.

YF work or anyother work is not entirely our own work. We are just co-workers with Christ.

Its a comfort to know that we are not responsible for the result of ministries. God gives the result. However, every tree is determine whether it is good or not depends on its fruits.

Lets just be faithful to the calling. God is GOd and I am not.

you know, sometimes when I sit down and feel overwhelmed at all the things I have to do..when I struggle so hard till the point of almost breaking down..and when I just feel so discouraged..i take a deep breath, close my eyes and remind myself that somehow, someway God will carry me through. And He always does without fail. :)
