Your's truly : The mozzie buffet

Daily Quote : "I only scam the people who would do the same thing to me only if they were smarter" -Dogbert-
Craving : None (That's right! I'm all craved out!)

Alrights..it's been 2 days since I got back from a Young Adults Fellowship camp at Port Dickson and still I bear the scars of battle. For 2 Nights and 2 days I had to brave the swarming hordes blood thirsty monsters for the greater good of my dorm, emerging every morning with about 50 new bites! And believe it or not, I was the only subjected to such harsh conditions. Dang those mozzies! Dang those sand flies! By the time the camp was over I looked like I was suffering through my second bout of chicken pox! Seriously...it is that bad.

Other then the draining of my blood the camp went pretty well, even after the unfortunate start (I had an accident barely meters from the entrance of the camp site, thank God total cost = RM115). The speaker made pretty good points and said somethings that need to be said but I felt he could have done it in a better way. I wasn't too happy with the speaker in some aspects but that isn't for public discussion. The games on the other hand were really fun..especially the pipe filling game. And ofcourse who can forget the wonderful beach soccer moment when Weng Soon and Shaun went of frolicking in the sea with the ball.

On a sadder note the weekend also marked the passing of one of my church members. Even though I did not know him all that well, but it is hard to believe that only a month or two back I was at the same table with him making sushi for the VBS. One thing that can be learnt from the sad occurance though is that..please if there is anything wrong with you physically, biologically...go see a doctor. Don't wait till someone has to drag you there. He will sorely be missed.
