When does No mean No and when does No mean Yes?

Daily Quote : "Last week I stated that this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen. I have since been visited by her sister and now wish to withdraw that statement" -Mark Twain-
Craving : Still Cravingless...hmmm

Now when is it that a woman says No and means No, and when is it when she says No and means Yes? I for one have always taken things at face value, No means No and Yes means Yes. I know most of the guys out there will agree with me on this (bearing ofcourse all those sick pyschos who rape and say "When they say no they really mean yes"..and if you are one of those, you should be in jail!). I mean women just love the mind games don't they, and guys have been complaining about it for ages. And now I have even more proof of this.

I was out with a couple of friends, Serena and Charles on Tuesday night, once again taking advantage of the 50% earthquake discount at Swensen's after which Melvin abandoned us and we ajourned to Murni's. Now somewhere along the way the conversation got on to the topic of relationships, a.k.a. bgr. Serena was extremely curious about the progress which Charles and I were making on our respective projects. Unfortunately there was no good news from us and the two of us both that we had both got a pretty definate "No". This is where the interesting part comes in. Serena then proceeded to tell us that we shouldn't give up because sometimes when the girl says "No" she actually means "Try harder" or "Yes" (Now..I don't remember the exact words so I apologize for any inconsistentcies). When we heard that, Charles and I were like "What?! Could you say that again?". Not that we haven't heard that before, but words like that are usually coming out from the mouth of some guy friend/heng tai that is trying to console and encourage. I have never heard a girl say that before. So I guess that is living proof that women just love to mess with men's minds!
