Cravings : Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Pancakes with Ice-Cream and Blueberry Syrup

It's beautiful outside right now. Just the kind of weather to be outside and just enjoy nature. It's just about to rain outside. Infact I think it may already have started, but you know the kind of weather I'm talking about. When the skys are clouded and overcast, long lulls of calm followed by nice breezes, freshness in the air, the impending rain moisturizing the air....it's just wonderful weather. Too bad I'm stuck inside my office just staring at the four walls!!! Sigh....

At this job of mine, everyone needs security passes. They get you past the front gate and are used for touching in and touching out. I have just recieved my pass on tuesday after going about a week and a half without a pass because they needed to process one for me. Well in the words of my HR "Aiyar! Those people arrr...process wrongly larr!" And I couldn't agree with her more. My name is now "Hsiang SY" and my job description is "Analyst Processing". Yay. Happy. Happy. Joy. Joy. ...

On another note, finally got my small men's prayer group started last night. It took a while to take off considering I wanted to start it at the begining of the year. Thank God it has happened now. Only three of us right now, and that's ok because I'm want to keep it small. Not because I want to be exclusive or anything like that, but because I just feel it is really hard to be real and open when there are too many people in the group. We had a great time sharing a praying together last night and hopefully the Lord will bless this group even as we strive to be closer to HIM.


Side Note : I STILL haven't watched X-Men 3 or Superman Returns....*sob* *sob*

Back at work

Cravings: A nice juicy carpet steak

Ok so it's my first day at a new job. Looks pretty fun so far. I've even got a new Laptop. Well sort of anyway cause I can't actually do all the fun stuff with it because it's purely only for work. Oh well. At least it is something..:) It also looks like I'm gonna be thrown right into the deep end, I've already been given my first dateline and it's before Hari Raya. I'm also supposed to be stablizing some application which has been giving plenty of problems. So lots of fun eh?

This has been my first entry in ages and I have to say it was not because I had a lack of time, I guess I was just plain lazy. However today looked like an interesting milestone I think it is good to commemorate it with an entry. Don't you agree? Hopefully regularity will return to my entries now.
