Updates

Craving : Smoked Salmon on Focacia

Okies so here goes. Some quick updates on what's going on (and also to keep this blog alive). I've been super busy with all sorts of stuff over the last month or so, and to top it off, eventhough there is so much to write about I just haven't been in the mood.

But let's see. Last month consisted of alot of ice cream outings. Even one when I was in the firing line of sorts. Then there was that getting "sacrificed" a couple of times by a friend who wanted to deflect attention away. On top of that I was bullied by a not so "innocent" girl while on an A&W outing. Sad rite? Terrible i tell you. It's all because I'm such a nice guy :P

Hehehe..It's all in good fun. The food was good, the fellowship was good, and no one got hurt. Excellent. Also I watched two movies I really enjoyed, "Evan Almighty" and "Ratatouille" (And Siew Ching....The concept is not disgusting!). I especially liked Morgan Freeman's line as God in Evan Almighty and that is what I shall leave you with to think about.

"Let me ask you something.
If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience?
Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient?
If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage,
or does he give him opportunities to be courageous?
If someone prayed for the family to be closer,
do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings,
or does he give them opportunities to love each other?"
