Holy Matrimony

Craving: Teh Tarik .... good Teh Tarik

Wedding bells are ringing. Well actually they rang. Well not for me. And there weren't actually any bells either. But there was a wedding! Oh well not much today, just wanted to post up a couple of pictures from the wedding. Had lots of fun and it was great meeting up with everybody again! Even all the way from SR Taman Megah! (Even though I was the only one from SETIA there.) No pics of the bride yet though. Will post that up later.

Without ado, the pics.....

Do you doubt?

Craving: Mini Minced Meat Pies

God is good, all the time. This statement is never more true to me then when the last couple of months in the year comes about. I'm frequently worried about being able to take leave for all the church camps and church activities that happen around this time. God has been very good to me, in that I have been able to take all the leave I needed for church ever since I started working. Last year, there was some opposition, but still He made things fall into place. This year, things seemed to be going off without a hitch. I had my leave approved for Teenstreet and VBS without any problems even when I hadn't been confirmed yet. I was already thanking and praising God at that moment, when suddenly a couple of weekends back, I was suddenly told there was something else I need to go for. A monkey wrench thrown right into the cogs of my well oiled scheduling machinery. The Alpha youth was on the Sunday to Tuesday after VBS. What was I going to do? I couldn't possible ask more leave could I? I have barely been working 4 months! (Actually I think I'm not even there yet). I was crestfallen. I knew I could most probably move my leave around so I could got for the Alpha Youth training, but I would probably have to give up VBS. Quite a hard decision to make, considering the aticipation for it that I was feeling. To top it off, my boss was away and I couldn't even see him about leave until he got back. I'm ashamed to say that the mantra "Nothing is impossible for God" was very far from my mind. Little be known to me, God was going to show me how true that mantra was. Two days before my boss came back, I shared my disgruntledness at been told last minute of decisions and such with a prayer buddy and we committed it to God. Just asking him to take away this feeling of resentment that I had. Strangely, the next day I began to actually feel optimistic about not only moving my leave about, but asking for an additional day too. The more the day drew on, the more confident I became of making the request. This is a confidence that could not have come from myself, but only from God, because in light of all the work that I have piling up and my whole situation at work, I would never have dared make such a request. The long story short (Ok, so this has still been a long story) , I asked my boss about my leave the day he came back, and he had no objections. Leave application has never been so smooth. And now VBS, Alpha Youth Training and Teenstreet will all have me in attendance.

God's timing is not our own.
Nothing is impossible for Him.
God is good all the time.

Part Time Spammer

Craving : Pumkin Pie with Whipped Cream

It's 2 days after Halloween. There was no significance to that statement. Just made it just because. I'm in an interesting mood today. Been pretty hyper and I don't really know why. Maybe I had a good dream last night which I can't remember. Anyway what ever the reason it's been a fun day.

Started off by spamming a friend's yahoo messenger. She left her messenger on while she was asleep, so I spammed her with about 3 - 4 hours worth of absolute nonsense. Would have ended earlier, but she just wouldn't wake up....tsk tsk, the lazy bones. I won't say who she is to save her the embarassment, but I will tell you that she's one of the people in my friends list. She posted the spam on her blog too, although I'm sure people will all forget that once they see my picture. Hee Hee.

Started watching the Hard Gay series on U-Tube today. It's really hillarious! Oh man! If you haven't watched it, you guys should start. The Yahoo one is just awesome. I promptly blame Shaun, Shalom and Heidi for this addiction and for the loss of many minutes of my life. So it's all your fault, Hoo!

On a sadder note, my tag board is dead. I think it's because well,Tagboard is dead. So I'll probably be taking it down soon. If it doesn't start working by my next post. Down it comes.
