Faith
Craving: Lobster Thermidor
Every since I started going to church I've heard about "Faith". We are always told to have faith in everything we do, and to just trust in God. However I know there were many times for me, when faith just wasn't enough. I had to plan and make sure everything would be alright, or maybe make a move instead of waiting for God's timing.
These days however, I sorta view things differently. When dealing with YF issues especially, I rarely feel unsure or worried anymore. Even when faced with the daunting schedule and work load Youth Fellowship has laid out for us teachers, all I felt was a sense of calm. A sense of "Don't worry, God will see us through this." . I admit, I 've been selfish in not sharing this feeling with my fellow teachers, perhaps because I am afraid it's going to sound cheesy, but it's truly the way I feel. I'm not telling this story to blow my own horn or anything, but...it just hit me the other day, this must be just a glimmer of what it must be like to have faith like Paul, like the apostles. Cheers and God Bless.
